Is $244 billion the US cybersecurity market?

No; Gartner's cited forecast is worldwide information-security spending for 2026. It does not establish the US midmarket share.

Do we have a reliable average MDR monthly price?

No like-for-like representative range was verified in this research. The public Microsoft price is software-only and should not be substituted for a staffed service quote.

Why are there two values for the Wiz transaction?

The announcement used a $32 billion agreement figure subject to adjustments. The later SEC disclosure reports $29.5 billion on its stated accounting basis, which is a different dated measure.

Can job-posting growth forecast our supplier budget?

Not directly; posting data measures advertised hiring activity under a particular methodology. It does not measure service contract values or your approved spending.

Does the DBIR's 48% figure describe our probability of attack?

No; it describes a share within the report's breach dataset. Use it to inform scenarios and questions, not as a company-specific probability.
