Your action plan

This working view lists answers at 0–1 as follow-up priorities; that is a navigation convention, not an additional scoring rule. Every zero remains a mandatory open issue, with critical zeros first.

Your follow-up priorities will appear here as you answer. Unanswered questions remain open.

Scope and qualifications

Research cutoff: 20 October 2026. Geography: United States unless expressly stated.

This quiz measures procurement and operating readiness, not the probability of a breach, compliance or insurance eligibility. It is an original editorial tool, not a validated assessment or a NIST-issued score.

Use it with the IT lead, business sponsor and service owner. Select one answer per question based on evidence that exists today. Each answer earns 0–3 points; all 12 questions apply at the decision-process level, for a maximum of 36. An unknown receives zero rather than an assumed pass.

Framework context comes from NIST's small-business guide, incident-process context from NIST's response guidance, and outsourced-service questions from CISA's customer guidance. The wording, points, bands and gates below are our editorial design.
